We wouldn’t need him for that many games. I’d look at him as a 20 mpg guy who squeezes into the 9th man spot, then shaved some minutes from Bojan. Gives you an interesting option for a couple minutes per game of 5 out. He misses some games? No worries. 10 minutes of Niang. But if you can add a guy who gives you 20 and 12 per 36 and is a respected floor spacer, all at the cost of waiving someone at the end of the bench, it’s a huge win.

This may be true, but we do have some intangibles if DL is aggressively waiting for his phone call. One is that, if the legislature continues what it did today, they could install him as king of Park City, which is apparently his favorite place in the world. And when I asked what differentiates Park City from just being a rich man’s Tooele in this thread, @Engorged On Unborn Gore said it was the orgies:

I just read an article on 10 celebrities who spend time in Utah. I closed the link so I forgot where I saw it, but most of them were people who go to or live in Park City. I find it funny that it's popular among people not from Utah, but as someone who's lived the largest portions of my life...
So they could also make sure that his name is on the invite list for all orgies in Park City.

I doubt they buy the guy out... unless they squeeze him for a bunch of money. Buying him out is just an anchor on the cap sheet that you can’t do anything with.
