Jazz Poetry

No, but how about a virtual donut? They're on the house today!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Take seconds if you'd like. There are plenty more where those came from.

All you need is a bag of donut seeds.

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
KOC I'm not a fan of you

You will probably draft Jimmer
And another white smuck
Until you are gone the Jazz are seriously #*@#ed

KOC I'm not a fan of you

You will probably draft Jimmer
And another white smuck
Until you are gone the Jazz are seriously #*@#ed
Violets are pink
Lilacks are white
KOC BEGONE
has basically lost his mind.

He rails on O'Connor
While lauding the players he's brought
What does he think a GM's job is?
A genius KOC BEGONE is not.

All you need is a bag of donut seeds.

Holy crap! I have boxes of those things in the pantry and I never even realized what they were. My wife tried to get me to eat them one time and I nearly puked. It's no surprise when you think about it that an embryonic donut wouldn't taste nearly as good as a full grown adult.

I'm gunna roto-till my lawn and plant a massive crop in it's place. No more mowing for me! Plus, I'll get rid of the kid's trampoline and plant donuts there, too. They get way too much exercise anyway. Finally I've found a way to git them indoors huddled around the TV eating sweets and watching reality shows like a good kid should. I'll be the envy of the neighborhood as I go out to pick fresh donuts all summer long. Thank you Millsapa! THIS IS GUNNA BE GREAT!!!!!

Your comment led me on a very enlightening internet search. It's shaken my concept of who I am to the core. But the real question I now need to understand is this: What happens to the donut holes?

Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou

My poem about Gordon Hayward by Cousinsfan11

Pretty women wonder where his secret lies.
They say he is cute and has nice size
But when KOC starts to tell them,
They think he is telling lies.
He says,
It's in the reach of his fingers
The span of his arms,
The stride of his step,
You will have no time to intercept
He's a man
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal man
That's him.

He walks into a room
Just as cool as they please,
And to a woman,
They stand or
Ask for a fan.
Then they swarm around him,
A hive of honey bees.
He says,
It's the fire in his eyes,
And the flash of his teeth,
The swag in his shot,
And the joy in his feet.
He's a man
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal man,
That's him.

Many themselves have wondered
What they see in him.
They try so much
But they can't touch
His inner clutch.
When he tries to show them
They say they still can't see.
He says,
There is no turning back,
The sun of his smile,
For some reason he always catches flack,
The grace of his style.
He's a man

Phenomenally.
Phenomenal man,
That's him.

Now you understand
Just why my head is bowed.
I shout or jump about
Or have to talk real loud.
When you see him passing
It ought to make you proud.
I say,
It's in the click of his heels,
The bend of his hair,
the palm of his hand,
The need of his care,
'Cause he's a man
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal,
That's him the G-Man.

Best one yet spazz. Well done.

She Walks in Beauty by Lord Byron

My poem about Derrick Favors by Cousinsfan11

He walks in beauty, like the summer sky
Of tireless climbs and starry skies,
And all that's best of shiny and bright
Meets in his aspect and his eyes;
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which the basketball gods have shone on him

One dunk the more, one lay-up the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in the stands
Or softly lightens or his face,
Where thoughts sweetly based on potential
How pure, how dear his dwelling face.

And on that cheek and or his brow
So soft, so calm, yet ferocious,
The smiles that win, the tints that show,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
Derrick Favors is every other teams foe.

my emo contribution

I sit alone with candles burning, depressed with a deep yearning
to fit into a community bound by the Jazz, yet I'm neglected by the alias known as Spazz

I dyed my hair and pierced my lip
hoping my pain translates to a 'chip

A Jazz fan from my days in placenta, my love has grown deep as Booner's dementia

I smoke cigarettes and listen to screamo
hoping if the lakers are cancer, Hayward's the chemo

Therapy that Ty Corbin was too scared to be
in the locker room, with sloan butting heads
and d-will crapping the bed

But through it all, my tight black jeans
and Fesenko's illegal screens

I sit alone

Joe Bagadonuts gets his own line,
For that reason this poem is quite fine.
The only man described by a noun or a verb,
So I celebrate by writing this little blurb.

Donuts all around! Teach Me How To Dougie by Cal Swag District

1st Verse Of Teach Me How To C.J. by Cousinsfan11

Teach me how to C.J.
He's not Smoove
Can you teach me how to C.J.?
You know why?
Cause I want to be air-ballin
All I need is a beat that's super bumpin
And for Hayward and Favors to back it up and dunk it
Put your arms out front, lean side to side
They going to be on you when they see you air-ball it
Ain't nobody going to ever make him better
He goes by Miles and shoots too much threes
He's not from Dallas but Hayward can shoot it better
He shows his moves off and everybody tying to do it
Favors leaves the function and all of the ladies trying to get close
You just do you and Favors will do him
People hate and always get on C.J.'s case
Can't blame them because he makes me sick
He makes the party dull when it is shining
Raja beat was bubblegum so C.J. had to try it

Teach me how to C.J.
Teach me, teach me how to C.J.
Teach me how to C.J.
Teach me, teach me how to C.J.
Nobody loves him
No no, nobody loves him
Nobody loves him
You can't help him no way!

Oh, Gordon my love
My desire burns white hot
Like the shades of the dove
My loins will quencheth not

Please, oh Gordon my sweet
I beg here on the ground
Hinder not thy sacred meat
Or the gentle touch of thy mound

Gordon, oh how you make me wail
Forever prodding my soul
How I long to hammer the nail
Into your gaping hole

FIN

Disturbing.

Earlier this year I saw The Green Lantern
There were many strange creatures - they reminded me of Kanter
Can he be a super hero with impeccable powers?
Can he stand tall with Favors as the indestructible towers?

Gordon Hayward is more than a white slump
He's a fine ladies man that many would hump
He plays Starcraft online and he tries to act tough
He's a ladies man even guys can't get enough

Corbon is the coach but he sweats like a player
The ESA is his thunderdome, his castle, his lair
He interviews nicely although he's a bit mono-tone
But he's not bad as Locke who breathes really hard on the phone

Gordon Hayward carried on wayward towards his fleet
and Starcraft might as well have been Wall Street

His pungent hand sweat stench matched his role on the bench

Occupied.
