This game will look very different from game 1, imo:

I think our supporting cast plays better; and their supporting cast regresses to the mean

I think Kawhi and PG play better. Or at least Kawhi. At some point they’re going to feel out the midrange space... They didn’t need to in game 1 because they were getting and making plenty of 3s. I expect that to change.

I think Lue shortens his rotations.
 
I wonder if the clippers will use less small ball tonight. Also wonder if Morris starts at the 5 again.

I'm fairly certain it was him I saw kicking Kawhi's *** and making him pass the ball out in the final seconds of the last game, but I could be wrong.

It will be very interesting what they do with Kennard. The Jazz just need to go ahead and destroy him on defense to the point that he is unplayable every time he checks in. Remove his scoring, the game looks very different. Make him scared to step on the floor. If Mitchell is out when he checks in, call a timeout and check Mitchell in immediately. Be ruthless about it.

I mean, Joe and Royce are grinding with PG and Kawhi. They ain't going to have the energy to give you 20 plus. Ideally we would get a little more from the dudes not tasked with being defensive stoppers, especially Clarkson and Niang.
 
I'd like to see the Jazz get a big jump out of the gate like they did in Game 5 against Memphis. Make the Clippers play uphill all night and see what they've got left in the 4th quarter. I'm looking for a 37+ point 1st quarter from the Jazz.
 
Huge game. As big as the last win was, if the Clippers get this one then they did exactly what they wanted to do.

Key to this one is the hydra, need it firing on all cylinders. Ingles simply has to stop passing up these perfect shot opportunities. He’s in his own head at this point. Keep that defensive intensity from the second half and we’ve got this.

I believe he was questionable last game but doubtful this game.

ETA: I take this back. Why did I think he was doubtful?
 
Let's also not pretend that the Clippers are Juggernauts in their own building. Sorry, I meant THE LAKERS' building.
