Curious how well they've been attended and what the experience was. If we made it to the finals, I may consider this.

I’m curious if they’ll just watch the national broadcast or if they’ll pipe in Locke and Boone.

When the Rangers won their Stanley Cup in the '90s, Madison Square Garden was open for fans during the away games. Only lower bowl was open, game was shown on big scoreboard/screen...it was one of the great sports experiences I ever had.

True die hard fans were there. We did the "Star Spangled Banner" and then watched the game on the screen. Somewhat bizarre -- cheering and yelling at a big screen -- but it was really the same as watching the big Duran vs Leonard fights on closed circuit (before home Pay-Per-View). Great time. New York doesn't do it anymore (Dolan is a jerk), but I highly recommend you do it if given the opportunity. Very memorable experience and a great time.

Hopefully the latter. The national people outside of JVG are just so boring and/or just ***. I'm happy to get actually interesting tidbits rather than learning that Rudy Gobert has a mother and loves her very much.

I played a hockey game on Sega Genesis at some point in the 90s and beat my friend. I hate to burst your bubble and ruin your childhood, but it was actually me who won the Stanley Cup that year and not the Rangers.

Sorry.

The sound was complete garbage. Couldn't hear the play by play at all. But it didn't matter.
Probably better. Don't hear a play-by-play at a game either. I've been turning down the sound so that I have to focus to listen to them on the few occasions it might be important.

I'd love to go to this tomorrow, but it's not gonna work out.
