Love it!
Ok, I am going to ask the tough questions. Why the **** do you scan a lot of books?Speaking of our beloved Joe, check out his 2009(last year he was eligible for the draft) profile on nbadraft website.
Don't miss the video below of our Joe whilst a young whippersnapper in the Aussie league(mind the terrible techno music, though), but notice that it says that he was number 93 on their top 100 prospects board. That may actually be untrue, as when I look at a snapshot of page history leading up to the 2009 draft, Joe isn't among the 100 at all.

Marvel at some of the trash on this list, including players who were actually selected at that year's draft, unlike our Joe. How many of them are still in the league at all? It sound ridiculous to think about it, but Hasheem Thabeet was a number 2 pick. I think Hillary was the secretary of state last time he suited up in an NBA game.
But here's the really crazy thing. Blake Griffin went #1 that year. He was ROY a year later due to injury. He is a 6-time All-Star. He made 5 All-NBA teams. And 12 years since that draft, Joe Ingles is a better player than Blake Griffin.
If Vegas had offered odds on that in 2009, what do you think they'd have been?*
Finally, I have a room in my house that my wife sometimes likes to refer to as "your room." I'd like to think of it as a study. My main desktop is in there, my scanners(I scan a lot of books), my dozen musical instruments. This is what the door has looked like ever since my wife and I drove down to SLC and went to two Jazz games almost 4 years ago.

*For those of you who are super pedantic and will get on me about how bookies don't offer odds on who's subjectively the better player, let's simplify it: what would the odds have been that Joe Ingles would average more points than Blake Griffin in the 20/21 NBA season.
No joke I watched my dad scoop up two trout bare handed. I’ve yet to do anything as manly as that my whole life.As if. Joe can probably catch salmon bare-handed.
Historical research, mostly. I've probably got the largest library of books relating to population history of the Balkans in the world. I supply academics with books or article they can't get.Ok, I am going to ask the tough questions. Why the **** do you scan a lot of books?
How long does this take you?Historical research, mostly. I've probably got the largest library of books relating to population history of the Balkans in the world. I supply academics with books or article they can't get.
Of course, my large format scanner has been decorated too.

A 200 page book takes about 45 minutes. Often done while watching non-Jazz NBA games. I have to take breaks for longer books because the scanners start slowing down from overheating. How long does this take you?
I didn't catch this last night. Pretty funny!
You need to start printing out dreamy posters of jazz players. My gf has a crush on Quinn so this would come in handy. Her b day is coming up.Historical research, mostly.
