I agree with Larsen a lot and I think most of what he points out is spot in. His building a roster logic ignores legit tradeoffs and is naive from my perspective. Kawhi didn't choose Utah and he didn't bring PG with him to Utah. Our reality is not the same as markets where superstars self select. That doesnt mean we cant win but it is not a level playing field.

I guess I missed the part where Andy suggested bringing in two super stars.

You're making a total straw man argument here. The Jazz whiffed on the margins this year, and every time that's been brought up with granular detail you just say "nah, these are professionals".

Well so are the Kings. People at every level **** up and the Jazz did a bad job on the details. That is coming back to bite us right now and it's not as though that was unforeseen.

Everyone lol'd when I suggested we messed up the cap math putting us just a hair in the tax... these guys don't miss... its their job!

There is a reason player XYZ was released or doesn't have a job... yada yada yada.

There is zero tradeoff to trading for Torrey Craig instead of Matt Thomas from a salary perspective... it would have netted a guy that would be in the rotation and useful... another team with more ample talent on the wing went ahead and got him... all it cost was $117k... no picks.

We didn't have the salary for PJ Tucker, but I think every contending team made an addition that has proved useful. We thumbed our damn holes.
