For background, Twitter has discovered John Stockton is anti-vaxx and has been dragging him over it. Now, Stockton being anti-vaxx is stupid, but it’s pretty irrelevant to any and everyone quite honestly.

This dude is a disrespectful, childish, clown and I want him off my team. Liking a tweet making fun of John, is about as low as you get for being some humble wonderful dude. Especially when he was asked about it, saying getting the vaccine is a “personal choice” and he declined to say whether he was vaccinated or not. Making fun of John Stockton, regardless of how dumb his opinion may be is about as low as a Jazz player could get:

He didn't have to interact with the nonsense pile on of John on twitter at all, but he chose to make sure he liked a post clowning John Stockton. Disrespecting a guy who kept the f****** franchise in SLC shouldn't fly with any Jazz fan who values being a Jazz fan.

Stockton is my favorite Jazz player, but he is not on my list of favorite humans. Love what he did for the Jazz, but the dude is a jackass, as most people can tell you.

Now anyone that would berate Mitchell, who does so much for this franchise should be forever banned (from life, not just this forum) :).

As far as antivaxxers, I may like you, but damn right I'll make fun of you.

This. If someone’s got a dumbass take - idc who it is - they deserve to get dragged for it.

I mean I guess we could discuss how even one person not getting the vaccine very much puts us all at risk, but if you don't see how Stock's actions set the perceived Utah culture back 50 years, it's probably not worth discussing.

Stockton's just as tough as he is scientifically ignorant. He'll be fine without your support

Honestly who cares. Let the man live his life even if it's wacky. Stockton has a statue for his basketball accomplishments, not his views on science.

Anybody who treats these players as role models / idols are only setting themselves up for failure. The NBA/NFL is full of other anti-vaxxers, sex offenders, China apologists, home-wreckers, players who cheat on their wives, players who hire gang-bangers, murderers (Ray Lewis murdered a dude and nobody cares), etc.

Can't wait for idiots who'll want to tear down his statue because of his anti-vax views lmao

If one is offended by John “doing his research” and being an “anti-vaxxer,” it does help to do a bit more research of one’s own to find out what John said (or, rather, what he didn’t say [i.e. nothing]) about vaccines.

Donovan’s account is setup to like any pics Taylor Rooks posts... he thought it was a thirst trap photo.
