Official Let's Go BUCKS!!! NBA Finals thread

I am completely disinterested in those finals. I still have hangover from the way we lost and the fact that we screwed such an unique chance. I don't get that excitement that it's finally different teams than usually as they didn't knock down the real contenders at full health. Suns have played very well but this title will have a big asterix to it. They won against: Lakers with AD on one leg and than out, Denver without Murray, Clippers without Kawhi.. Milwaukee played horrible until Kyrie and Harden were done. If it was Jazz in their place I wouldn't mind all of that of course..

Asterisk?

I mean jeez... Do you guys forget how close we were to playing the Lakers in the first round if the refs didn't screw the Warriors?

And we got to play against the Clippers twice without Kawhi, and lost both?

We've got no room to be playing the asterisk game. That is garbage. The Suns deserve to be where they are at.

Where did I imply that the Suns don't deserve to be where they are? They play very well but also got very lucky with multiple opponents injuries. And it's frustrating that we screwed the similar chance. I would be happy if we won championship even that way.
And yes, it should be "asterisk" in place of "asterix", my bad, not native speaker and too many comics lol
 
Teams playing the team in front of them and winning doesn't deserve an asterisk. Not like they could have sent over some of their medical staff to get AD or Murray or Kawhi healthy.

I feel pretty strongly that if Donovan and Conley had been healthy we'd have faced them and I'm not sure at all who would have come out of that series. But if it was the Jazz I think this would have been a championship year for us.

Monty vs Bud is a complete coaching mismatch. I see Phoenix winning this in 5 or 6 regardless of Giannis' health.

We were injured against the clippers though

Jrue Holiday really turned into a glorified Bledsoe this year.

He hasn’t shot the ball well either. He is closer to being a point guard than Bledsoe and helps them settle in at times... they might have wanted a better floor general though.
 
Bucks should have pushed for CP instead of Holiday. Guy is so damn good.
