also real fighters dont back off from a fight. and yeah he's backing off.

You guys catch the Fox show before Cain/Dos Santos? I thought it was way too hollywood. Loved the fight though. It was clear Cain wasn't in as good a shape as he wanted to be in and probably that's from the shoulder. Happy for Dos Santos but I don't think he'll last long.

they wanted to appeal to the normal guy. you know the guys that dont know anything about mma.
with the nba lockout. nba fans got some money to spend ;).
so by talking about cain and dos santos their lives they appealed to the non mma crowd.
 
I have a very long and racially fueled response to the Cain/Dos Santos fight -- unfortunately, it's not appropriate for this board. Let's just say, I'm glad that the racist didn't win.

Conan, in your opinion, who in the HW division can beat Dos Santos? (besides my main man, MIR!)

Maybe Lesnar. ok not 10 out of 10 times. but lesnar could beat santos 1 out of 3 times. so if the stars align lesnar could beat santos.

why do you consider cain racist? because of his brown pride tat?

Wait... Lesner? Brock Lesner? BWAHAHAHA... that's funny. But seriously, Brock Lesner?

I'll just pretend that you didn't say that Brock Lesner, the only guy in the HW division that takes a punch worse than Andrei Arlovski, and who got his *** HANDED to him by Cain (who isn't even half the striker JDS is). JDS would TKO that fat lard within the first 3 minutes. Realistically, the only threat I see to JDS is probably Frank Mir or MAYBE Overeem. I say Mir only because the only trouble he's had is with big fat brawlers like Brock and Carwin, but he has handled pure strikers with relative ease. Not to mention that he has phenomenal wrestling and world class BJJ once he gets JDS to the ground. I think that even if Cain had managed to get the TD, JDS would've popped right back up. Mir would stifle him and likely GNP him to a TKO, or submit him. JDS is known for his piss-poor cardio, so this is a very likely scenario in my opinion. Overeem has a chance because he's just about the most pure striker in the UFC. I hate his guts and think he's past his prime, but he's still the #3 ranked HW in the world. I think Brock will beat him.

And yes, Cain is a racist prick. Yes, it has a lot to do with his tattoo. The guy was born in America for hell sakes, drop the "Mexican Pride, essay!" schtick, it's annoying. I think I'll get "White Mormon Pride" tatted up on my chest and go on national TV -- what do you think the response would be?

i disagree with brock not good at taking punches. he did take a hell of a beating vs carwin.
i think mir has a better change of beating jds thats why i agreed. thats why i also said brock has a change(a 1 in 3 change). think we miscomunicated on that one.

also i would like to see cheick kongo fighting jds. not saying he would win. but imho it would be a great fight
