Chael Sonnen is gonna make silva his little female dog

No doubt Sonnen dominated the fight, but like I said, Silva was simply off his game that night. Compare that to any of his last 5 fights -- it's night and day.

but trout isnt that also his opponent. i know that bones jones made rua look like a rookie. sometimes opponents just make them look off.
it could also be silva was off.(maybe all that trash talk sonnen gave him made him mentally fragile, maybe he had personal problems or maybe he had an injury)
but i know sometimes in fight the opponent can be such a mismatch that it just makes you look different.

hope silva accepts if not dana should kick anderson out like he promised if he ever saw silva dancing/fooling arround again

Ya maybe he was off his game because of Chael. You gotta give the guy some amount of credit. He's very business-like and is great at game-planning. Probably the best thing about Chael is he clearly wasn't intimidated by Silva. Silva wins a lot of fights before they start.

what i despise about silva is that he dances arround does not take care of business. on the other hand. Sonnen alwas takes care of business.(so what if he did some sort of tax fraud, screw the government they screw us all the time).
sonnen goes into the octagon and stays in there as long as neccesarry not a second longer.
while Silva starts dancing and lowering his hands. and such.

on a side note this reminds me of melvin guilards fight the one before sonnens fight. he was lowering his hand dancing around like he was untouchable i was like ooh god please knock him out. and then he got knocked the F out

Cope, are you saying Silva was just setting up that triangle the whole fight? Silva could've finished off Sonnen whenever he wanted he just waited til the end?

The thing that Silva has like many of the 'great' fighters or athletes is to take advantage when opportunties present themself. Silva does that over and over. He may get 'dominated' for X amount of time but will come out on top. I just feel that Sonnen just wrote his retirement speech and Silva will come out even more motivated to shut the farm boy up.

I thought Guillard got submitted? Point stands either way. It was very good card.

yeah he got submuttied after a good punch landed and he was startled. and jope jumped on him punched a bit. then rear naked choked his "behind"

but yeah it all started with hands low, getting punched

I want Sonnen to win but would love to see a motivated Silva.

That's possible the stupidest comment made about MMA on the internet ever.

howis it stupid. what i mean is he has the oppurtunity to finish his opponent but instead dances around like a gril. not jsut a few minutes but a couple of rounds of dancing. thats not handling /taking care of bussines. that is just fooling around. but yeah since dana told him not to do it he has done a lot less of it

So not putting yourself in a bad position because you want the big knockout / finish the opponent when you know you have a win and will retain the belt / possibly best fighter in the world is a bad thing? Again, he does exactally what GSP does except GSP does it on the ground with his great ground game.

It's called being SMART and not putting yourself in a bad position thus the reason he is one of the best fighters in the world and why you are writing about him. Too many fighters, ala Lesnar, have gone for the finish and been submitted or got rocked.
