Video Game Thread

Yeah, I used to PC game quite a bit, and was big into BF2. I haven't really been into the PC gaming the last few years (since I started working from home and started having kids). I just spend too much time on a PC for work.

I'm with you though, the guns def have more recoil, tougher to get vehicle kills, etc etc. I think it actually might be a little more realistic and will take some time to get used to. In BF2 and most other shooters my K/D ratio is always positive and I am like .80 right now. Have some work to do!
 
Drake Uncharted 3 is pretty dang cool. I'm on chapter 14 right now and I wish I had more time to play it.

Do you guys use any of those game trading sites? I don't collect games so they've been good to me recently. I think I've got it down to the point where I can pretty much buy 1 game of value and just trade my way into better or equal items so I don't have to buy any games any more. The only cost is a couple $$ of shipping every time I get rid of a game. Although of course those sites work on a trust basis so the potential to get ripped off is always there. Beats trading into game stores anyhow.

I've officially retired from video games again after about 3 or 4 weeks of being back in the fold. I put all my stuff on Ebay. I just can't get into them anymore. I think I actually like watching video game reviews more than actually playing any of the games.

Both, best 2 games of the last 2 maybe 3 years. If you liked demons souls I would go for dark souls first. It's a much more intense experience, plus the online aspect is a plus. And you want to get in while there is still a huge online community for it.. Skyrim is the best single player RPG since Morrowind. So yeah, 2 very different games, but don't pass on either.

Well seeing as I have other things to do besides video games, I will have to be making a choice. Maybe I can get the other a year down the road, but if you had to recommend one, which one would it be?
 
NBA 2k12, battlefield 3, modern warfare 3, uncharted 3, saints row the third, skyrim, batman arkham city, rayman origins, etc etc. So many good games in the last couple of months. I myself bought uncharted 3 which is a great game but i dont like it quite like i did uncharted 2 which was my favorite. I also bought saints row the third and rayman origins yesterday. I was very excited for saints and for uncharted 3, and just got rayman origins because it seemed like a game that my wife might like to play with me. Turns out rayman origins might be the best of the 3. If you like mario type games i recommend picking it up.
