What's new

Video Game Thread

Well seeing as I have other things to do besides video games, I will have to be making a choice. Maybe I can get the other a year down the road, but if you had to recommend one, which one would it be?

I'm only about 20 hours into Skyrim. I put well over 100 into Dark Souls. If you really like PVP and co-op then get dark souls. If those things don't matter too much, definately go for Skyrim. Sorry I can't help more, it's like asking what would you rather have, sex or beer?

I also have and bought Demon Souls & Rage together and then just last Fri MW3 & Skyrim. Due to knowing how I am once I start playing Demon Souls and Skyrim I wont play anything else for awhile so I did like Rage the graphics especially the back grounds is really well done and now I beat MW3 and playing a bit online before finishing Demon Souls and even starting Skyrim.

Stupid work and real life crap.

How is MW3?
The online play I take it? It is very similar to MW2 the way the guns and leveling of the guns but with some minor tweaks and the perks are different and some new ones and the class customization is better as each can have it's own/different kill streak setup.

Since I was almost 2 weeks behind I'm WAY behind the learning curve on the maps and learning how to get around and kill the a-holes that snipe/camp and IMO so far they seem to have made sniping easier (again) I'm getting killed a lot by no scope or in between scope and no scope that IMO is complete crap and I think they've increased the range a little on shot guns.
Despite my whining I do like it just getting adjusted to it (from Black Ops) and I hadn't played COD since Sept so I was little rusty to began with.

Rep'd. Thanks for the feedback. With BF3 and MW3 coming out at the same time I decided to try BF3 1st. Will eventually get to MW3 as well.

I wanted to try BF3 it looked awesome, I just couldn't justify the $$ for both BF3 and MW3 plus the like I've said switching between the two messes with my mind as the buttons are different and makes me suck at both.

God, I'm urging to go get Skyrim so bad. I fear for my lack of ability get **** done afterwards though.

Yeah... so I think my retirement is going to be short lived because I didn't realize a little game series called Zelda is coming out with a new one soon. Time to go steal my little brother's wii from his apartment.

Ocarina of Time was truly the best game ever.

The entire series is pretty amazing. Even the flashback type games that still come out on the handhelds are good. I'll always play Zelda no matter what my interest level is in video games as a whole at the time new ones are coming out.

I haven't played any in a while, but nothing can compare to OoT because of the time I played it. I was a kid and it felt so epic. I was legitimately scared of the bosses in that game.
