2021 Free Agency

We may have to see how free agency shakes out to understand what the Celts are up to. Not really sure why Smart seems to be available (unless there's still tension between him and Brown, or maybe Smart has just worn out his welcome by now).
Or has Boston worn out its welcome with Marcus? iirc, he’s had some legitimate gripes. Maybe they are pretty confident he won’t re-sign.

Edit: all player options end in a loving embrace with James Dolan.
My bad. The only reason people sign deals with player options is because they want to get to Dolan ASAP. The quickest way is signing for the max years but making the last one a PO.

I don’t know how we get Moody, but I’d happily take Paschall and Toscano-Anderson into TPEs for future picks + a sign-and-trade with Georges Niang.

To me, the interest in Paschal suggests a Niang sign-and-trade in which we send picks.

Aren't they totally in love with Toscano-Anderson? I don't see them dumping him. Paschall is probably another matter.
