2021-2022 Schedule Released

Well we might finally beat that damn 15 game franchise win streak to start the season. We may win the first 25.
 
The stretch from 58 to the end looks brutal.

I always manage to look for and spot the "hard" in the Jazz schedule and then look at other teams and see the "easy" and wonder why the Jazz' can't do that. However 13 back to backs does seem a little less than normal but then the NBA said they are trying to reduce back to backs so not sure what other team's look like.

Like with travel just how it could be more efficient in the order they play each team/city. But this is the first time I can remember in a long time where the Jazz actually play CHI and MIL on the same road trip (back to back) and they NYK and BKN back to back as well (not that uncommon).

But then stupid stuff like playing a 6 game road trip that starts in NYK and ends in LAC, but come home for one game to play on national TV the LAL (a city they just left from) to only go back and play @GSW the next game..... why not just make it an 8 game road trip so much easier.

Little things like that for every team would just make it so much better and easier but I know it's not that simple as far as arena's being booked for other events and even a bigger reason TV money, TNT and ESPN have to be taken care of and that will always throw a wrench in scheduling.
 
Going 7-3 in the first 10 games would be a strong start considering we have Den, @Mil, @Atl, @Mia. Maybe we can go 8-2.

I'm looking for the Jazz to be 15-5 after the first 20 games.

A few tough B2B roadies stand out: Chi/Mil, Den/LAL, GSW/Phx, NYK/Brk
 
Jazz have 26 games on national TV. That seems about the most I can remember. It includes 14 games on TNT/ESPN.
 
The teams we only play 3 times are the Clippers, Lakers, Grizz, and Spurs.

I think I like having the easier part of the schedule at the start of the year. It gives the team confidence, and let's them work out roster adjustments. Playing better opponents at the end of the year creates good habits going in to the playoffs.

On the other hand, all teams usually play their hardest at the start of the year, so even bad teams are dangerous. Playing bad teams at the end of the year are typically automatic Ws.
