What's new

The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

The victims left behind by your president.
List of the crimes committed upon them, please.

Jfc did you not read the lady there saying death is all around and she can't even leave the house? Wtf are you talking about?
I did. That's pretty typical during a transfer of power of this type. What did she say was done to her, again?

English onebrow...

Victim- someone or something that is harmed by an unpleasant event.
What's the harm that was suffered?

What victims?

I don't want them to kill my kids': Afghan translator's desperate journey from the clutches of the Taliban to a new life in the US

Only people victimizing them were the crowd at the Kabul airport.

No thanks. I find your stance on this repulsive. I'm literally grossed and see you have literally zero grasp at what's going on.

You're right these people are on vacation and want to to be left there. There's literally nothing for them to fear.

I know part of what is going on is that your ginning up hatred.

You're right these people are on vacation and want to to be left there. There's literally nothing for them to fear.
I didn't make that claim, but I don't expect better from you.

What victims? Any of them have any violence committed on them yet? Is there any reason to think the Taliban won't help them leave, once they have consolidated?

The Taliban does not want to piss us off right after getting us to leave.

dude c'mon .. "any reason" ???? lol Disingenuous

And the Taliban has zero fear of the US and it's allies now

It’s early yet, but other red states are going to copy the Texas “deputized citizens bounty” system, and it’s not unreasonable to think, and hope, that this will really hurt the GOP badly in 2022.

The Taliban has a history of terrorism 20 or so years in the past.

They have different old men leading them now, and are facing a different situation. They don't want us to come back for another 20 years, they want us gone.

And the Taliban has zero fear of the US and it's allies now
I don't think they are that stupid. They're aware the only reason we left is we got tired of being there. If they tick the US off, we have no compunction about going back and killing a lot more Islamic people (this should be read as condemnatory, not bragging).

@One Brow this is why i find your stance on saying there are no victims repulsive. I guarantee you that you wouldn't say the lies that you spew to this guys face. Still waiting on you to answer why blacks can't get IDs even though every other race can poor or not. I'll wait.

"That's one of the reasons I chose not to speak with President Biden," Jim responded to Hannity. "Everything he has done was completely wrong. We had opportunities to do this the right way, and we absolutely failed miserably as an administration. I can't blame the entire thing on one administration; it goes back ... we're 20 years into this, but when it came down to pulling people out and pulling troops out and leaving the country, there was no — you couldn't have picked a worse way to go about it."

@One Brow this is why i find your stance on saying there are no victims repulsive.
My stance was that you claimed there were victims, but didn't actually produce any.

I guarantee you that you wouldn't say the lies that you spew to this guys face.
Which guy? Scat? I have no reason to think Scat and I would be anything but friendly and comfortable in each other's company.

Still waiting on you to answer why blacks can't get IDs even though every other race can poor or not. I'll wait.
Why would I answer to a position I don't take? Keep waiting.

... Jim responded to Hannity. ...
So, you and Hannity are using a grieving father to push a specific political perspective, and you think I'm the repulsive one?

It's not courage, it's a death wish.
In all fairness to my wife, she's always been willing to go over political differences without either of us getting upset. I just couldn't resist the (sexist) joke. I have a long history of jackassery.

My wife did not make me type this (yes, another example of jackassery).

My stance was that you claimed there were victims, but didn't actually produce any.

You don't even know what a victim is. You can be a victim without violence. You're being dense just to argue. Plain and simple. Common Sense as I said yet you fail. Miserably.

Which guy? The grieving father you said went on Hannity to "push a specific political perspective". You... Are the one saying the father is lying. He said it not Hannity... The audacity to say the father is wrong. Those were the father's words not Hannitys. Funny you don't have the guts to try to prove the father wrong. Just stupid one liners.

So do it. Explain to me what the father said that was wrong.

Victim-
someone who has suffered as a result of someone else's actions or beliefs, or as a result of unpleasant circumstances.

Is this difficult to understand? Explain to me how this could be difficult to understand? Or are you saying the dictionary is wrong? It is so naive you think the Taliban is friendly to these people. The Taliban that literally rapes little girls, beats women for going outside, and kill musicians because it's against their religion...

But they're nice and possess no threat, right? That's why people are literally begging to be saved

Common sense....

President Joe Biden told Jewish leaders that he visited the Tree of Life Synagogue, where 11 people were killed by an anti-Semitic shooter on Oct. 27, 2018. However, Tree of Life Synagogue officials say that Biden never visited the Pittsburgh place of worship.

Ahead of the upcoming Jewish holidays Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Biden held a 16-minute virtual address with leaders of the Jewish community. During Thursday's meeting, Biden claimed that he visited the Tree of Life Synagogue.

"And it's been given too much oxygen in the last four, five, seven, ten years, and it has seen itself, whether it was — I remember spending time at the — you know, going to the — you know, the Tree of Life Synagogue, speaking with the — just — it just is amazing these things are happening — happening in America," Biden said.

@One Brow is Biden lying? Why would he lie?

"I'm glad President Biden made the decision. He is not responsible for the details of the withdrawal," MacGregor said. "That is the job primarily of the secretary of defense -- and General McKenzie and General Milley certainly should have been involved."

And, as MacGregor pointed out, two of the three people responsible -- Milley and McKenzie -- were appointed by Donald Trump.

the truth is that Biden accomplished exactly what Trump had tried to do in his final year in office.

The only real difference is that Trump wanted to withdraw more quickly and with less regard for the Afghan citizens who worked with the United States.

In fact, while Trump and Pompeo have taken their shots at Biden, some of the key players Trump tapped to carry out his planned withdrawal are actually praising Biden for finishing a job they say Trump started.

"The fact is this was the Trump-Biden withdrawal," said William Ruger, tapped by Trump to be U.S. ambassador to Afghanistan in September 2020.

"Donald Trump wanted out," MacGregor said. "It was no secret plan. No misleading agenda. He wanted out."

The withdrawal order horrified top military leaders, including Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley and CENTCOM commander Gen. Kenneth McKenzie.

Both men had just weeks earlier signed off on a memo written by recently ousted Defense Secretary Mark Esper warning that the withdrawal of U.S. troops would result in chaos in Afghanistan and a heightened terror threat in the U.S.

So much posturing. No one wants to own anything. And the whole thing was still handled *****ily no matter who signed off on what.

You don't even know what a victim is. You can be a victim without violence.
You can be a victim without physical violence. It still requires some sort of emotional/social/mental violence.

Which guy? The grieving father you said went on Hannity to "push a specific political perspective".
The guy you and Hannity were victimizing? His son was a victim of ISIS-K, not the Taliban.

You... Are the one saying the father is lying.
Could you point out where I claimed anything he said was false? Every single other poster who read my post missed it.

One might think that you're not satisfied with trying to find the worst possible way to interpret everything I write, but must now make stuff up as well.

So do it. Explain to me what the father said that was wrong.
First, point out where I made a claim he made an error.
