Cavs beat the Nuggets easily tonight. I think the Nuggets will be highly motivated for this game.

MPJ has not had a big game yet. He was supposed to score 25 ppg with Murray out and I believed it. Either he or Monte Morris will score 40 and I can’t explain how or why.

I don't like B2Bs at all for anyone tbh.

Jazz are one of the better teams in the league in back to backs. These are an advantage for us overall.

This will be our first game without defensive resistance. On the flip side, we will get to see just how good our defense is. . .

The Nuggets' defense isn't great. There are holes in it, and Jokic has very little rim defense. On top of that, Denver's bench rotation is really thin right now.

The jazz and the Nuggs both bring a little something extra to their games against one another. So it can be hard for me to put much stock in the stats or other summations (especially this early in the season).

There are more ‘intangibles’ at play. Desire matters a bit more than the average game.

I’m watching Rivers too… Barton has had big outings against us.

If we lose everyone will start the “Rudy can’t do it in the playoffs” narrative. National TV gam too. We need a breakout game from the guards tonight.

Carved a pumpkin the other day. Used jazz note logos for the eyes (and my daughter wanted a heart for the nose so I obliged) and it turned out pretty good.

This would be a nice game for Donovan to show up. Seems like he's been easing into the season.

Other way around. He has been trying too hard to force himself into the season. He needs to work within the flow of the offense and stop trying to be "the man" driving through all 8 on the other team to try to force up some shot at mid-range. Or get a pass at the top of the key 30 feet out and force a 3 between 2 defenders. He needs to work within the team concept more, and stop trying to be the one-on-one guy.
