Agreed. Jefferson's style of play just doesn't seem to allow for a lot of growth from those around him. He has a tough time finding the open man when he is double and triple teamed. If any of you have played with a guy that tries to find his shot despite being double and triple teamed you know how frustrating it is, I am sure the other guys feel the same way.
LoL, yeah, I have. Although, the good thing about Jefferson, is that he's so good at the pump fakes and up-and-unders that he can actually score quite a bit thru double and triple teams. If Jefferson is to stay, then I think a really good player to model would be Hakeem Olajuwon. He has really good footwork. He kept defenses guessing on whether he was going to dish out to shooters or spin and score. The Rockets won the title 2 years in a row when they used the post w/ 4 shooters combo. Jefferson is talented enough that we could actually use that strategy. I just don't know if the Jazz are willing to try that.
