Oni traded to Thunder

If it’s not about money, why are we including second round picks rather than just waiving his ***?
I would love to hear the alternate take lol. We have too many future second rounders laying around the office.... needed to get some storage space?

It’s one of the reasons the pros are the pros and we’re asshats on a message board. Of course there’s a good reason for it that only makes sense when you get to those advanced levels. And no, it’s not money. Second round picks are incense you burn on the altar for the gods.

Most comical example yet that this dude simply and actively chooses to be an apologist for the organization no matter what. Would love to see his take on the Favors debacle. Or Udoka. I’m sure it’s here somewhere and quite a treat. Jazz could trade Donovan and Rudy for Ben Simmons and this dude would emerge to lick the orgs jock.

Even for this board, the absolute meltdown for salary dumping a guy at the end of the bench and a second round pick six years from now is impressive. Lmaooo
It’s not that. It’s that we manage to find the most difficult ways to solve problems that could have been solved in a myriad of ways with a modicum of foresight that even message board dorks had. It’s like spotting a guy on the road with toilet paper hanging out of his pants. No biggie. But now imagine you find out that guy’s flying the plane you’re on.

Dude. Assets are what make trades happen and the Jazz just dumped one of their few remaining to put some cash in a couple of billionaires wallets. It’s one fewer 2nd to use in a trade to improve the roster. And when you’re down so many, it makes it increasingly worse.

As much as anything, it doesn’t portend an organization really willing to do what it takes to make moves to get over the top.
