Yeah, didn't look like a foul, probably gets overturned but whose ball is it going to be?

Should have been overturned imo. It reminds me of pass interference in football. If you are looking for the ball and have an equal shot at getting the ball then there can be a little incidental contact without a penalty. Should have been a no call.

Being so active on defense is why we are in this like we are. That's been the most impressive thing. For every lapse on D we have due to them just never playing together we have about 4 really solid defensive stands. That's what will carry us to the win. Keep up the defensive intensity and we have already shown we have guys that can score the ball. Man this has the makings for one of the best games in jazz history.

Lets be honest though. The raptors have missed a TON of open looks. They are ice cold and much of it has nothing to do with the defense. Sometimes shots just dont fall.
5-26 from three (19%) and 18-53 from the field (34%). Some of that is good defense. A lot of it is just missing open easy shots. They probably came in over confident when they saw who was out for us. It happens. (happened to us a few times)

Ya they are way bad. They also seem to think its a no brainer for fred van fleet to make the all star team and would be travesty if he was left off. Also their color guy sounds like joe pesci or something from a gangster mafia movie.

We are also playing a straight zone… and it’s working… for now. I expect a ton of adjustments from Nurse.

Guys like Hughes ands House are playing good defense… Forrest and JB too.

The thing I don’t get is how you watch these guys and Forrest is the one on the regular rotation… why? Based on only this half there are like 3 guys I’d rather have get those minutes.

We are
Getting cleaner looks than they are… lots of those Van Vleet looks have been closely contested.

I think we are playing loose and hard and Raps may have figured we’d mail it in.

Zone makes the most sense with a group that hasn't played together much. And they all know how to play that from college. So it's been successful. Yeah I'm sure they'll come back with a lot of adjustments and I still expect we'll lose this, but it's been one of the funnest halves of jazz ball I can remember.
