Good point. Somebody mentioned something like this earlier so let me rephrase.

I don't think other fanbases, other players, and neutral people are fans of how plays, really respect how he plays, and like him as player. Of course this is all speculation.

I live in TN and I talk to basketball fans all the time who have zero investment into our Jazz. They think Rudy is lame, overrated, not impactful in the playoffs, etc. etc. I argue on Rudy's behalf all the time, but the opinion is there. Maybe it started with the crying incident and won't shake, but...

Ok well words matter. That is NOT what you said, by your own quote. You could have clarified. Your own quote said you wish he had said it while he was playing, which plainly says you believe he DID NOT say it while he was playing. Sorry I thought you meant the words you actually said.

Rudy complained the media about his touches when we were actually winning ball games last year.

Donovan was our best player the last two playoffs and the only reason we had a chance in the series we won and lost. Pick better battles.

Yes reading the original post I kind of see it now, but all I meant from my original post the "it" was the actual statement in that exact moment. Wasn't implying Rudy has or hasn't ever spoken up behind closed doors.

Rudy did something in the locker room to Donovan.

All Donovan did was ignore Rudy publicly for a while yet he never revealed Rudy's actions because he's better than that.

Rudy did stuff to himself through his actions in the media room and the locker room.

WHy in the **** are you still obsessed over the covid thing? Since then millions of people have done 100x dumber things around covid, including NBA players. Jesus christ.
