Is Earl Watson really OK as b/u to Devin Harris?

We should get a guy like Andre miller instead of harris and watson should back him up, at least he isn't worse than price

How the hell would a player as old as Andre Miller fit with the youth of this team? What do we do in 2 years, draft a PG?? In case you haven't been following high school/college ball, there are absolutely zero notable point guard prospects coming in over the next 3 years. Andre Miller is an absolutely awful suggestion. Theres no way were signing a point guard who averaged 12.7 PPG, and shot 10.9% from 3 last season.

The good thing about Watson is that we know he's not an NBA starter in the league anymore. His role is backup. He's good in that role.

No thanks. Both players are over priced and have another year on their contracts.

That shouldn't be a problem. We have the money for the next three years before we have to start paying our young guys. If we can get two peices for one and have them fill some spots on our roster and their contracts don't tie us up for more than three years we should consider it.

He's a fantastic backup (best backup the jazz have ever had?) and a decent starter. Jazz need to retain him, and either trade Harris for a replacement (?) or draft one (Marshall).
Trade our starting point guard? Did you forget he has been an all star and went to a finals appearance? I'm not a huge Harris fan, but he has a good enough track record for me to give him a shot.

Anyway, let's not forget that Burks knows how to play point. If (maybe when) Harris gets injured, than earl starts but doesn't get a ton more mins. Price gets some more (yeah they'll re-sign him) and Burks gets the rest. Yeah, a little scary, but it's better than having two starting quality point guards whining about not having enough mins.

Ronnie Price has heart, athleticism, and he loves the Jazz. We need to keep a player like this.

So Ronnie has the athletic ability to cover up for turning the ball over in the 2nd video. Solution don't turn the ball over- you are multi-year vet. In the 3rd video one of the guards needs to be responsible to players leaking out.

Look, every team needs to have at least 13 players. Not every one of them can be superstars, there will always be a few that get little to no time on the floor, otherwise there aren't enough mins for everyone. Ronnie price is an inexpensive hustle player with an attitude, and he comes in handy during injuries. Face it, with current salaries, about the only options we have without trades is to re-sign Watson and Price. Our team growth will take place at the wing and the paint (Burks, Favors, Hayward, Kanter)
