That was a great close to the quarter. Can we keep up the intensity? Always the question with us.

I feel a little better because unlike other leads we got this one by defending and driving it into the paint…. Rather than just hitting an unsustainable amount of threes.

I’m still nervous we don’t stay locked in or we go hero mode… but the energy has been consistent first half. Missed shots and made some unforced errors.

Jazz still shooting sub 30% from 3, have missed half their FT's, and have 6 turnovers (though that isnt too bad).

Hopefully we get an explosion in the 3rd and give us a comfortable lead to half blow in the 4th so we dont lose.

I often wonder if Royce could be a lot better offensively if he took any chances at expanding his game, because he seems like a high IQ player and has good rim touch.

It seemed like he was on the verge of leveling up his offense a few years ago, but it just didn’t happen. Glad to see him playing with more confidence tonight.

We keep attacking the paint and it’s working. We’re aggressive and not letting the defense set. Maybe we’ve finally “figured out” the Mavs.

It’s weird… it’s like giving different looks instead of the same **** is confusing them a little. Who would have guessed.
