NBA Playoffs

Jrue is the player we should have blown our wad on. That was a huge championship acquisition for MIL. No amount of distant protected first picks can make up for what he does.
Yep. We should have pursued Jrue. He would have been the perfect compliment to Donovan in our backcourt.

Gosh I hate the Conley trade more and more as time passes.

Good hell that was a champion showing how to close… made so many huge plays. I think I’m a Bucks fan now… sorry guys I’m out this bitch.

I always believe the Bucks will win no matter the situation, and when they lose or get behind, I still believe in them. Opposite of the Jazz where I believe they will find a way to lose no matter the situation.

I think if we knew he was going to become available we may have been more patient but yeah… it sucks.

My motto for the Jazz this season was “Finding New and Dumb Ways to Lose”. It was a comedy of errors.

Seeing what the Grizz are doing tonight, maybe Ja will be on the trading block this summer ;)

I want to say that the time to get him was instead of George Hill. Back when we had the old FO and Locke would leak everything draft related he implied that we were going to trade our pick and said only two players fit what we needed, and those two were George Hill and Jrue Holiday. Hindsight 20/20, but it would have been amazing to get Jrue instead of the revolving door of PG's. Even if Jrue wasn't available when we went all in on Conley, we probably should have thought about the implications of having two 6'1 guards with rapidly declining defense. Really would have brought a new perspective to, "it's Mike **** ing Conley".

Obviously I think Jrue is great on his own, but I really respect the mentality that MIL had. There were a lot of people questioning that trade and thinking it could have been a disaster. They knew their window was Giannis and didn't care about the future. I think their aggressiveness to win now has given them an advantage over other contenders who are more hesitant to give up future assets when it's their time to win.
