I legit was going to post a Layden appreciation thread this week. I’ll get around to it but there are some real strong arguments.

We are stuck with a name that has no relation to Utah. It's just that the uniforms could have looked a lot better. Too simple.

It was pre-Ryan/during the transition. We dipped our toes in the tax knowing to keep things together we'd be in repeater tax... no competent team barely goes into the tax. You either duck it or end up like 5-6M in it... worst case teams barely end up in the tax but have a bunch of expiring contracts so its a one year venture. We could have saved 10s of millions simply negotiating just a little harder with Favs/JC

Until watching the video I didn't realize it but these sort of remind me of a simplified version of the Oregon Ducks bball uniforms.

Also from the video at least Clarkson seems to like them.

Don't get me wrong it's not like I think they're great or anything I just don't hate them, they're too simple to really hate them

I like how some are out here saying... "yall just don't like change" or "you guys just like to complain". Nope... no one was complaining about the other city edition jerseys and those were very different and a much bigger swing.
