Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Expect to be underwhelmed by the Rudy trade. I just have a feeling it won't be much and won't pan out well.

Also, ive barely watched John Collins play, can someone tell me why some folks want him so much?

20/10 guys per 36 mins

Improved defensively

Super efficient offensively with limited touches

Re: Grant and Wood

Turns out picks are really valuable, even the late ones.

Considering the above, the notion that we shouldn't trade Royce for a pick because he's buddies with Donovan is so asinine.

While I agree I doubt Royce could net us a 1st anyways. I’d be happy with cash considerations and a 2nd.

Hilarious cuz I just listened to a Locke podcast where he thought the #7 pick wasn't valuable and that is why they hadn't done the grant trade yet.

Locke throws me for a loop. I honestly think he has some of the better insights of anyone in media, then he says some of the stupidest **** I have ever heard with regularity.
I had to turn him off the other day when he was making fake trades... he truly has no idea what he is doing and its so cringy for a guy thats in the business. I do agree with you though.

I never said you had to be traded by now to be valuable just that we clearly haven't received a deal we like or we would've already traded him, lol.

YoungJefe, I haven't read this whole thread, and perhaps it's been noted, but your avatar change is cringeworthy. I hate looking at it every time you post. It's almost as bad as the new uni's!

Just wanna also point out that the Jazz have traded out of SIX 1sts ('16 for Hill, '17 for Rubio, '19 and '22 for Conley, '21 to save salary and restock 2nds, ~'24 to dump Favors), used two on league-minimum centers (while having Gobert), and used one on an NBA rotation player (Grayson Allen) in the last 7 years.

It's hard to say that the Jazz could've managed these assets worse outside of hitting a homerun with Donovan )and arguably getting a couple of high-level years out of Conley, but just a couple). The fact that they've dumped all their 2nds as well really highlights how cliffed out this build is.

We're the only two with any common sense or baseline understanding about the NBA.
Many of our opinions are different than their opinions. Instead of respecting our opinions, they have to consistently attack the sender when they have run out of points to try to prove their opinions.

They look like children when they are actually grown men.

They defend Rudy like he's their dad or love interest, it's a little weird.
