That's a play-in team... maybe... depending on who the center is and how we shape up the rest of the roster.
 
Capela couldn't prop up Atlanta's defense above bottom 5 unit in the league. No idea why people think he will be able to replace Gobert and keep us anywhere close to competitive on the defensive end. IMO if Gobert is gone, we will have real hard time getting out of the bottom 10 defensive teams in the league. Unless we go HARD for defensive wings. But then the offense and shooting will suffer.

I don’t really agree but that’s fine. I think our ceiling is higher with switchable wings who can defend.

Who are those switchable wings who can defend? And how will they help Donovan when he gets targetted on the defensive end? Because I don't see Mitchell-OG-Trent-Bogdanovic as some great defensive switchable unit.

Pretty clear you didn't watch the video. Rudy's TOs per number touch is among the worst in his position. The less touches he has, the better the offense got over the years.

Again, I love Rudy. He's the single reason why we've been so good defensively. But dude has Ostertag hands. It just is what it is, and it helps cost us in the playoffs.

There are a ton of different ways we could go.
 
Would be nice if we could get Whiteside back but I really think he is the **** out on coming back.
