I like that Minnesota (and Cavs) are bucking the small ball trend. You can’t beat Warriors at the game them invented. Minnesota is taking an all-in risk and I look forward to seeing what happens with them.

Pairing KD with Rudy was a strong win-now thought. But getting KD now would be a monumental waste of everything we have been doing. We need to either move Mitchell for more assets and let the rebuild begin, or truly try to build around Mitchell, but to get KD for, what, 3 or 4 partial years with his injury history? And by giving up all the assets we would need to build around him as well. Dumb to go after KD now unless you can somehow do so and hold onto Mitchell as well.

I know, but the idea would be to buy low on KD and sell him for a profit before the start of the season. Keep in mind, Ainge is playing poker and he's just been dealt into the game.

Yep, it's too early. It could go either way, but I'm ruling out him being a star. That's usually found out early.

You cannot push for 2 years for the team to trade Gobert at every turn AND THEN when they trade him, act like you are shocked and "unsettled and unnerved" by it. You got what you wanted. Now get your *** to work and better start playing some defense because your get out of jail free card has expired!

I don't think "flipping" players is a good idea. If you thought players didn't want to come here before... after doing this it will be x 10.

I dont think they did that move for the Jazz. I would assume the Jazz would have gone with someone else if they were drafting for themselves.
