Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

He was never worth it. He was a terrible fit with Mitchell from a size standpoint and age didn't fit with the timeliness to compete. It turned a 7yr window into a 2 yr window while making us asset poor and tiny in the backcourt.

This.
I always hated that trade

Exactly man. Exactly.

Been saying it a while - Rudy is just as big of baby as Don. They are both divas.

Rudy was dealt. Maybe the fanboys should acknowledge that he was part of the problem and not completely blame Don.

They both were childish imo.

Both were babies and both are responsible for the downfall of this team imo.

Both also have added a lot to this team as far as winning and making decent playoff runs.

Brooklyn is the perfect team to use as leverage too… right in they backyard.
Don has super charisma. If he was in Brooklyn, he could win over the Knicks fan base to follow him. It would be disastrous for the Knicks. He is in the headlines and he is In Utah..how the heck did he pull that off?

Ayton is not mr. Motivated… I’d be terrified to have him on a max in a tank environment.

Im very very impressed that an unmotivated dude can put up 17 and 10 on 64%, 37%, and 75% shooting at just 23 years old. (And those numbers are in less than 30 minutes per game)
Imagine what he could do if a coach could squeeze the effort out of him or if he simply needs a bit of maturation.

Its a risk no doubt but if he were highly motivated already we would have no shot in hell at acquiring him.

He’s a 20/10 player on our team next year.

This is true, but it would take him 16-17 shots per game and a willingness to run a post centric offense

He did it last season without a post centric offense if he just played a few more minutes and had fantastic efficiency. He can rim run fantastically, and make mid range jumpers in addition to being good in the post.
Again, he is very efficient and doesnt really have any offensive weaknesses.
