Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Not sure that's right (via SB Nation):

It's slightly different for S&T scenarios, but the max would start at over $30 million and would be over $35 million by year four. See this good explanation:
So, still a lot cheaper than Gobert. And obviously younger with a much more polished offensive game.

Ayton in SnT won't be as cheap as people think, IMO. Just check what other SnT deals usually get.

Brogdon for example netted MKE a 1st and 2 seconds. I would assume Ayton would be more expensive. So we are very likely talking starting price of 2 x 1sts? Should we give up that for Ayton?
I was hearing Bogey and a first.

Except, Gobert was $40 million a year and Ayton maxed would be $25 from how I understand it. Its a much more doable number for a top level center imho.
Fair point. I guess it depends on if they could get an elite wing to pair with Mitchell. If they could, adding Ayton could make the jazz competitive. But if they can’t get that other piece I’d rather we just be bad and hold onto assets.

What if they ask for one of those further away Minny picks 2027? Or two of them(2027 and 2029)?
I wouldn't trade any of the picks after 2023. I think our worst two 1sts are:
2023 Minny 1st
and
The worst of Philly/Brooklyn/Houston 2023 1st from the Royce trade

If Ayton wants out and Phoenix doesn't want to pay him, Bojan and a first isn't a bad deal at all. Phoenix wants help now, and Bojan can be helpful on any team. I don't think Ainge would give two 1sts in that scenario. There isn't a massive Ayton market right now.
