Reverse Pet Peeves

Lol. Right. Beer, drugs, cigarettes, etc are much better. How dare I drink soda. I’m 6’0 170 just lost 10 pounds without even trying. I think I’ll be alright.

Many of us, most of us, myself included, have some sort of unhealthy habit or two. Even those people who seek to eliminate every possible unhealthy thing don't live forever, or even really longer than average.

I remember some random interview with a woman who was celebrating her 100th birthday and she said the secret to her longevity was her daily cigar. Maybe it was a secret to her longevity because it brought her joy and probably gave her something tangible that she could look at as she smoked it and see it as her defiance of death. I fully believe that at a certain point a positive mental attitude and a desire to live is the difference between life and death for some people.
 
I’ve tried since high school. I was 5’4 140 going into the summer of my junior year and grew to 6’0 and could never put on weight.
You got to eat real food that's high in calories. If you are drinking an XL fountain drink everyday and not gaining weight (hell even losing weight) that tells me you just dont eat enough actual food.

I know you're an athlete, so you probably have a super high metabolism, but you got to eat through that.

What are some foods that you eat that are high in calories?
 
Fats and oils also have a lot of calories and can be very good for you, depending on what kind you eat. Same with dairy/cheese.

Like if you drink 2% or skim milk switch to whole milk. Fish like salmon or other fatty types of fish have good fat.

So like butter noodles with salmon. Lots of calories but not just plain trash either.

Organ meats are very good for you and contain a decent amount of good fat.

Ah you thought I said those things are much better. I see why you are confused now.
For what its worth I think it would also be a bad idea to have a deal at the liqour store similar to the one at the gas station for soda. I also think similar deals for drugs and smokes would not be a good idea.

No, I merely just don’t think it’s that bad if it’s the only bad thing I do.
 
Upgraded wifi at home to mesh system. So far so good. Much stronger connectivity considering our house is all on one level and kind of spread out, so the old single point router couldn't push the signal through all the walls to some places, like the kitchen/dining room. Now I get clean connection outside even, all around the perimeter of my yard.
 
188.8 and 20.1% body fat…so down to 37.95 pounds of fat!
Wow nice! I have evidence of my theory that there is only so much fat in the universe and if one person loses any fat, someone else has to find it. So look, I've been taking one for the team!

Actually that is my renpho for this morning. I am starting a new diet to support my wife, as she is now getting gastric bypass surgery and her diet is drastically changing. I figured if I just did what she does in terms of food, I should lose weight fairly quickly. So this is my "before" shot from my scale.
