Predict Our Starting Lineup

We legit got a lottery pick from this year. Getting him and Sexton was ****ing awesome. Sounds like Agbaji getting added sealed the deal for us.
I'm more excited about Lauri than Sexton. Finally having a legit stretch big to go with all these shooters is going to be fun.

Im super high on Agbaji too but could see Cy's lineup or THT in Agbaji's spot as well.

With Cy's you have 4 shooters on the floor. Less so with THT but both THT and Sexton can put pressure on the basket and still kick to shooters.

Conley
Clarkson
Sexton
Bogey
Dok

Unless the laker trade happens

Right now, I'm finding it hard to give a **** about who is on the team. Why both, they'll be gone soon anyway? Not bitter, I just hope the pain will be worth it.

The Jazz drafted and developed 2 perennial all-stars, which any team should dream of, especially considering how low in the draft we got them. But unlike the last time that they did this, they couldn't keep it together. That's sad, TBH.

Let me take a stab at this

the Westbrook trade is Bogey, Clarkson, and Beasley (Lakers want expiring contracts)
I think Conley to the Mavs is a smart move for them. Not sure how the trade would work
I think Gay is moved also

PG - Sexton, Butler
SG - THT, NAW, Balmaro
SF - Fontecchico, Agbaji
PF - Markkanen, Johnson
C - Vanderbilt (Great choice CY), Azubuiki, Kessler

Agbaji should be better than Royce O'Neale from day one. I could picture him starting before the end of the season. However, Jazz will probably start and shop any vets they have remaining on the roster when the season starts. That probably includes Beasley. Let's say Conley, Clarkson and Bogey get moved. Let's say Gay gets dumped somewhere. So then it might be --

Dokie / Vanderbilt / Kessler
Markkanen / Vanderbilt / Johnson
Fontecchio / Agbaji
Beasley / THT / NAW
Sexton / Bolmaro / Butler

I don't know if they'd start Vanderbilt at the 5, but he could see minutes there for sure.

I think NAW and Butler's pulse might be viewed as very weak by the current regime.

They could have I'd they wanted to. They had 3 more years of it.

They did the smart thing

Oh, I agree that it had to happen. They could have MAYBE tried a year with just one or the other, but that would have been risky.

Even when you're the one who asks for the divorce, it's still regrettable.

I'm not sure we're going to be able to offload every single one of the vets before the season starts, and I kind of have a feeling Beasly and or Clarkson might still be here.

Sexton
Beasley
Fontecchio
Markkanen
Vando

Jazz are actually going to have decent perimeter shooting and floor spacing with Sexton, Beasley, Fontecchio and Markkanen out there.

And when Vando rests Markannen can go to the five and Bolamaro can play the 1. We can have 4 shooters on the floor at all times. We may suck in the long run but I think if Will Hardy is good then I predict the Jazz will start with a winning record the first 20 games (and lose badly thereafter).

Have you looked at our schedule? Our first 30 games are brutal. I think it would be opposite. We start off horribly with a new group and new coach and start playing better and become more competitive in February through the end of the season. Unless we shamelessly tank the last month of course
