FWIW The Magic won the lottery with 22 wins last season. As it stands right now I think we are a 25-30 win team. I think the front office will do the right thing and strip away some of the talent to get us in the 20-25 win range.
This is really not true at all. Like OKC has no fans now. Like SA lost its fans the year they tanked for Duncan. Warriors fans still so miffed they tanked a year or two ago.To get less than 20 wins you flat out have to be so bad you become a laughing stock, a literal punch line that burns any interest from casuals for years to come. You might do that for a generational player. Probably not for an extra 3% chance at getting a generational player.
That said, I think people are reading way too much into a preseason game where we played a mediocre team on the second night of a back to back. Even a 20 win season means you win one out of every 4 games.
Jazz win between 20-25.
I also had a thought... teams that play hard will win 20 games on accident. We should play hard... and we play half our games at altitude and have enjoyed a huge hc advantage over the years. Without front office intervention we will find ourselves 7th.With this roster and a business-as-usual approach? 31-35.
Lmao. All that winning culture crap makes more sense nowMy sports ticket says we will win over 24 and 1/2 games.
GO JAZZ!!!

I have an idea:
Make a push about expanding interest across the Intermountain west. Play a quarter of our home games in St. George, and another quarter in Boise. Get rid of the elevation advantage. Also give the team bad accommodations getting to and from, like on Major League.
