Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

The report is so wishy washy... i clicked it and it was like "they hoped utah would trade him but not sure if they are pursuing him... they might be... but they might not".

gonna cost a good first and expiring salary to get Vando or JC right now... might have been able to get them for less before the season... maybe. Basically every member of the Jazz has increased their trade value to start the season. Good luck dealing with Danny and JZ.
Exactly this.

Chris H is my wifes hall pass. She loves her some Thor. Luckily for her Chris H and I look like twins. Main difference between us is that I have the bigger dick
Look I’m not gay but if Chris propositioned me I’d prolly give it a try… that’s a beautiful man.

Here is a no research quick list of players that are interesting
Theo maledon - I liked the kid is a back up in charlotte.

Isaac okoro - is not being used in much in cleveland

Aaron Nesmith - was a shooter in college. Needs a good situation

Chris duarte - not finding playing time in Indy

Killian Hayes - cant shoot or go right but has a ton of talent

Kevin knox - probably wont ever amount to much

Duncan Robinson - nice shooter but very bad contract

Omer yurtseven - I like 7 footer who can shoot

Rj hampton - kind of a bust so far.

Chuma okeke - for some reason I remember the name that is why he is here

Jonathan Isaac - probably my main target. If he can get healthy he could be very very good

Mythese thybull - already mentioned but who doesn't love defense

Jaxson Hayes - awful off season incident but Utah could fix his image

Kira lewis - fast as hell but need better shooting

Naji Marshall - like my xavier players. Has good size for a wing

Josh okogie - again defense with out the offense

Troy brown jr - has role player potential

Austin reaves - I like the way he plays and if the jazz make a trade for RW he should be included

KZ okpala - I have a memory of he has potential

Does anyone think we can be players in the FA market over the next two off seasons with Lauri and Vanderbilt on bargain contracts and a lot of teams not having cap space.

Feels like we are in the perfect position with cap rising to overpay for a free agents on the basis of when the cap climbs the contract will look a lot better.

Alternatively we can use that cap space to take on a few bad contracts for draft picks for example Duncan Robinson who is still a useful player and his 16.9m contract won't look anywhere near as bad in 2025 when the cap is expected to rise to 150m last I read.

The Jazz can really only generate appreciable space via some players declining their POs and waiving a few others. Assuming the Jazz hold some modicum of their current success, they have to tread that mill very, very carefully. Part of the team's success is the chemistry is just over the top. Everyone knows that, in the end, it's a business; but when the success of the business is partly because everyone is just having fun, you don't want to screw with that too much.

We can gain plenty of cap space by taking on Westbrooks deal.

I don't think Danny Ainge cares too much for this. He wasn't afraid to blow Boston up twice and he wasn't afraid to blow Utah within 6 months of being in charge. The relative is most of the guys we currently have won't be on the roster in two years time regardless of how much fun they are having now. It's all well and good to say they're buying in now but once their contracts are up they will looking out for themselves which is fair enough. Thats why we need to do what is best for us moving forward even if it means trading a few well loved players like Clarkson.

Outside of our rookies I expect only Vanderbilt and Markkanen to be on the roster to begin the 24-25 season.

There are a lot of role players on this list. Unlike years past, I don't think we need a role player as much as we need a Jimmy Butler kind of stud.

I know the rumours are that the Jazz wanna keep Clarkson and that Conley may be dealt at the deadline, depending on the circumstances. I also know things can change, but both Conley and Clarkson are very good dudes and have been good teammates and a credit to the team and the city during their time here. The Jazz may yet fall out of the playoff race, but if it comes down to trading either or both, I think the Jazz should do them a solid and send them to at least a decent playoff team.

I'm particularly talking about the Lakers here. I don't think they figure it out, and I don't think the Lakers are any better than the team that won 33 games last year. I'd hate to see Mike(who'd be a huge upgrade on Westbrook as still stand) sent to a team like that.

With the most recent Kyrie BS I have wondered if Nets would do Kyrie for Mike/KO… Ky routed to LA with Malik for the coveted two first round picks. Nets get stability… LA gets their star… plus one more shooter. Utah gets Russ and the picks.

LA is losing ground fast though and I’m not sure they can wait for KO to be trade eligible.

Shams says the Jazz have a list of suiters for Clarkson and Beasley and that they're getting calls every day about both guys. He thinks they're going to ride things out for 20-25 games and see where they stand, and then if they want to they can start flipping guys around January.

Not surprised. Both guys have been balling. Value has increased substantially for both.

If you’re going to make a trade, it’s important to strike when the opportunity is best. Right now, both guys have looked great - but I’d still be open to moving one or both to add good assets and cap space next offseason.

If Kyrie could be had for that, I would rather just keep him. In that case I would try to send Malik to the Nets instead of KO though. Kyrie, I belive, is a decent human who says incredibly stupid things. A lot less of an opportunity to do that in Utah.

No thanks. Kyrie is a scumbag and is not worth the constant headache. He's the last player in the league I would want on the Jazz.
