We can extend him this summer. Two years after signing his deal he’s eligible for an extension at the average nba salary number… it’s the extension that Terrance Mann signed. Norm Powell got it back in the day… there are a couple others. It should be enough.FWIW Vandy is another one that's criminally underpaid signing a 3/$13mil contract with Minny which wasn't even fully guaranteed, LOL. He will also need to hit FA in 2024 since the extension the Jazz are allowed to offer will pale in comparison to what he could make on the open market.
He wears number 23 .. lol.. that’s as alpha as you can get in my book.I'm begining to think lauri doesn't have the alpha dog mentality. He's talented but vs Dallas just not enough. 14 pts 0 assist and Clarkson found him under the basket 3-4 times so most of his points was spoonfed. He need to demand the ball and punish the guy in front of him. He's 7 ft. We just lost by 3
ASG is in Utah. If he stays healthy and continues playing well I don't see how he isn't selected.Looking at the All Star landscape for this season, Mitchell and Dejounte are no longer in the WC. Wiggins should never have been an All Star in the first place, and Draymond's case may be getting a bit sketchy.
Dame Lillard and Paul George should make it this year, AD too, but it's possible that Lauri could sneak in this year, especially if there's an injury. SGA and Ingram are two other guys who could make it.
Nah, alpha isn't a jersey number. I knew a lot of jordan fan growing up who wore number 23 but didn't want to be passed the ball in an actual game.He wears number 23 .. lol.. that’s as alpha as you can get in my book.
But then again he did great job with the game before, worked quite well in few tighter games and so on... I dont know what it is, bc this has been going on before. Is it him not gotten enough touches during the game he feels his touch is not there to take closing shots, or is it endurance based thing that might be resolved with more summer training. s someone that has watches almost all his games in the NBA I think it's it of both. Those issues can be resolved. Spacing in the corner he would have had several times the baseline open for a moment if he ever got the ball at those few lapses Mavs had... Like that kinda of lanes that he used for the reverse dunk few games back. He has had somewhat tendency to disappear in some games if he hasn't got touches. So true, he has to become more alpha bc his game is so much about rhythm and consistent touches. So ask the all from the bang.I'm begining to think lauri doesn't have the alpha dog mentality. Something is definitely off. I just checked the stats for touches, and Markkanen averages 51.3 touches in 33.9 minutes per game. That 51.3 is 38th most among players listed as forwards. KO averages 54.7 in 26.8 minutes.. so more touches for Olynyk in less minutes. And Lauri is our leading rebounder, so he gets extra touches there.I'm begining to think lauri doesn't have the alpha dog mentality. Same for me. Was really not fan. Proove me wrong, he is a great player, all star potential.I wasn't a fan or a believer in him before we acquired him but man he has made me eat crow. Dude is a beast.
I've been really surprised by his physicality. I always viewed him as more of a finesse player that didn't really rebound but IIRC he's averaging 10 rpg and is leading the league in dunks this season.Same for me. Was really not fan. Proove me wrong, he is a great player, all star potential.
