Doesn't it concern anyone that dude hade about 3 major injuries in the last two calendar years, some of which required surgery? Fairly safe bet that he's going make Exum look like Stockton. That frame of his is going to get him broken.

He completely destroyed Lithuania on both ends in an away game.

Wemby sure made an impact, but one has to remember Lithuania was missing about 20 of their top players from which to choose the team for that match.

I think that the if not injuries due to his side, the pressure and mental stuff will bite him in the arse. I don't want to down-play him but I don't have particularly high hopes that he will achieve what is expected of him.

Personally, I wouldn’t be too disappointed in drafting later. There are plenty of wings and speedy guards available. Picking up a young Jimmy Butler and/or Tony Parker wouldn’t be horrible

I think it’s time to stop comparing him to guys like Porzingis and start comparing him to guys like Lauri. I think that’s his superstar role in the NBA. If he can play a similar type of game as what we’re seeing from Markkanen this year (and stay healthy) he’s going to be a star.

Hopefully, the Minnesota pick pays off. Would love to see Wemby and Lauri together. Plug Victor into the Kelly Olynyk role long-term and watch the Jazz feast.

So not sure where to put this… but listens to the Athletic nba pod today… the weekend guys are a great listen fyi… just kinda chill and funny. They did some research. We were the first team to 10
wins. Of the last 40 western conference teams to do that all 40 made the playoffs with over half going to the conference finals. Over the last 30 years 29 of the teams that were first to 10 wins went to the playoffs. One finished with 28 wins and was in the lotto.

So basically we are a playoff team and unless we get Victor with the Minny pick we are out of the Wemby sweepstakes. Congrats on our playoff birth doe… we are like ****ing Jedis or something… lose an all star in Hayward get another in Don… lose a playoff roster in trade get another with the leftovers… kill one of us and it comes back stronger.

In addition to having one leg bigger than the others I don’t think Greg even liked playing basketball. I get the concern on Wemby but I think he might be closer to the Zinger spectrum on injuries and may end up being just fine. Remember how skinny Rudy was and how durable he is. Injuries are pretty tough to predict.
