Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

If you want the team to be good for the playoffs then I would be all over the Kuz for THT and a pick. He's a Marksnnen lite but rebounds and passes better.

I think Ainge and Zanik will approach the trade deadline with an eye toward the future. I don't think they're worried about trying to make a deep playoff run this season.

Great thing is Kuzma is only 27 so he would not only help this season but the future as well.

He does? His TRB% this year is 11.8 and overall 11.1 for his career. I’m addition, his rebounds per 36 are 7.7 this year and 7.4 for his career. Lauri’s TRB% is 13.7 this year and 12.5 for his career, while his per 36 are 9 this year and 8.3 career.

27 is old for this rosters timeline, if they trade the vets considering he wants the bag. I wouldn't bother
I see him as a free agent. We are going to throw money at someone, so why not him. Timeline is a little wonky, but the quality goes up to be competitive. We have a million picks so we can risk things. If he won't sign at a reasonable price then it sets up the Jazz to do another trade. Maybe we could get a 2023 or a 2024 draft pick out of it if it falls apart. If it works out well and the team gets a championship then it would be worth it. :p Have your cake and it eat it too. Building, building building is boring seize the moment now, I say.

Oh...yeah...one major downside, is that maybe Vando would view him as threat to his job, but I think Vando would still fit. But we get more depth and we get another near top-line weapon on the team.

Ok, I am wrong. But, depending on the composition of the roster maybe he would be available to rebound more. Anyway, the big picture is his diverse wide-ranging skillset would enhance the team.

dont like him never did. He was a nice story as a rookie, but has not done **** since. I think he's a headcase overall, would hate Utah, and want nothing to do with those types of players on this roster.
You want to throw $$ at somebody it will probably be JC if they don't flip him soon, but if not ,there are better options that will be cheaper like Dosunmu , Lonnie Walker, or Martin, if Houston doesn't pick up his option. Or they can throw $$ at Cam Johnson and hope Suns don't match. I would offer Kuzma a lowball offer and if he takes it fine.
