Mitchell outdoes Luka for NBA performance of the year

Yep saw that! No surprise there, it’s the NBA after all. We got screwed real good twice last night as well. First when Sabonis managed to get the refs to reverse a correctly called half court violation and second when a King player (Barnes?) saved a ball in front of an official with his foot firmly and obviously standing out of bounds resulting in an immediate Sacramento three.

PS I conceded that the lane violation you charged was correct in my last response as well.
IIRC, it was Fox, and not only was he out-of-bounds, but from what I could see, it was also a travel even if he saved it. He lost that ball himself, no one touched it (I might be wrong here, but I don't think so).

One of the worst, most inexplicable no-calls I've ever seen.

I generally don't like to expend much energy talking about refs in a sports entertainment league like the NBA, but this season has been just terrible. It almost seems like they're following their own sets of rules. Nothing makes sense.

This actually started last year when they announced changes to the officiating system to allow for "freer" play on the court, which was really just an excuse for refs to call whatever they want with no repercussions. Last 2 seasons have been decidedly worse than previous years in terms of officiating accuracy and honesty. And there is no sign it will get any better down the road. But it sure is working to piss off a lot of fans, and player alike.

Just so damn obvious and conspicuous, and a so called official standing right there just a stones throw away. That made three alone was the difference, not to mention the other irregularities. No other home team gets consistently treated with less respect from the officials it seems. After awhile it starts to feel intentional.

9 assists and most importantly - the W
Welcome back Lopo. Glad you are here.

On the other hand, I remember someone saying we shouldn't speak about former players. That we should go to that team's forum if we want to do so. I hope you exercise more self control and chill a bit this time around. The trade deadline is just a few weeks aways, so it's time to oil your trade machine.

This was proven out where for a few years in a row we had the most biased 2-minute reports in the NBA, by a mile.

Well I can certainly believe it from what I’ve seen this year! I’m still trying to figure out if it’s just sheer incompetence (I’ve never witnessed a college or High School game as bad as our last one), inherent league small market or other bias, or the League is providing assisted suicide to teams that should be tanking.
