A couple of 6'10" dudes available: Gorgui Dieng and Noah Vonleh traded by the Spurs and Celtics and both waived.
No thanks, we don’t give Kessler enough minutes as is. Hell, I wouldn’t mind seeing more Dok either.

How come sometimes you do the David Hume "bit" and other times you dont?Note on John Collins: He has a player option in 2025. I have no interest in giving up draft picks for a guy that could bug out in 2.5 years.
That's what I remember being reported when the trade happened, but like you said, could have been a narrative that was just being pushed. Why would we have an agreement with Bojan and, if we did, why were we obligated to compromise our own position for a verbal agreement to a player that has no bearing? It doesn't sound very Ainge-like and, if true, would be the first documented time he's ever done something like that, with lots of other very specific scenarios going the other way. I wouldn't doubt that some would push that narrative after the fact, though, where there's a vacuum of rational answers on why the deal was made that "Ainge being a gentleman" is able to occupy that space.
I'm not sure this is accurate. His efficiency is up a bit, but he's just doing what he has done, with the exception that he's moving onto a bad team where there's more offensive vacuum for him to fill. If people are surprised about his numbers this year, I don't think they can be that surprised. And if people are surprised, what, exactly, were they expecting his output to be?I also don't think anyone expected Bogey to have a career best season at his age.
Good question. Not to worry, I’ve never been diagnosed with schizophrenia or anything similar. I enjoy JazzFanz and lack the experience playing high school or college basketball and have no experience scouting or officiating. (When I was in Spanish Language School in Guatemala summer 1992 my team won the town of Antigua Language Schools tournament with me as starting center (Nickname : La Montana, due to my towering 6’2” height)but that’s it. So I try to keep things light with what is amusing ( to me), Hume impersonations, and try to make more substantive contributions during the mock drafts, which I love. How come sometimes you do the David Hume "bit" and other times you dont?
Lets get something straight... it was a rounding out the roster meh move... but it was also a save $5M and now we don't have to worry about bumping up against the tax move.Trading Bogey for KO was not a tanking move it was rounding out the roster. We didn't have real center option. Kessler was an unknown rookie and the team didn't even pick up Doks option. I am wasn't a fan of the trade but I think DA was high on ko so here we are.

We would be a better team with Bogey though. He also would be a better trade chip now.
IF you are planning on tanking you dont go out and get KO.I still believe that we were planning on tanking but were surprised (like everyone) with our great start.
I simply look at it like: Bogey > olynykI might argue that if DA was planning to tank he wouldn't have traded for a journeyman vet such as KO. He's fallen off a cliff recently but his shooting did help keep them in games at the beginning of the season.
Maybe it's all hearsay but it also bugged me to read about all the supposed interest in Bog and the high price Detroit is now asking. If Danny was going to basically give him away he should've at least sent him to a team that wasn't going to flip him at the deadline. It likely makes it more difficult to sell their wares for value when there are other quality pieces like Bog on the trade block.
