I would like to see what sexton and the jazz can or cant do with sexton playing big minutes as a starter too.

I think there is probably a balance with Sexton on giving him minutes and different opportunities vs running him in to the ground. Being smaller, I think of him as more fragile, which may or may not be true. He certainly plays aggressive/slightly reckless, so I would hate for him to get injured due to trying to do to much in a throw away year.

Read the story and apparently they need rebounding help. Hopefully they ignore tape and stats and make the decision based on price/height ratio.

I’d imagine the only way to move Olynyk to Miami (except in a multi-team deal) is to take back Robinson. How much would we realistically be able to be compensated for that?

I'm not a THT believer, but I also don't think he's a complete lost cause. We are likely stuck with him for at least another year, so getting him consistent minutes to see what we have might not be the priority.

Mostly, I just enjoy watching all the good and bad that comes with him. In a year where I've stopped caring if we win or lose I appreciate the entertainment.

I want to believe. It would be wild to see him play like a normal NBA player for a stretch where he isnt doing the most inane stuff possible.

He's definitely the most fun player to watch on the court. Probably one of the more unique brains in the NBA with how he chooses to play on expert mode for no reason.

Coincidentally Houston has a guy they call "playdough man". Play looks normal but results are incredible... something about him reminds me of THT.

We should be compensated more than they should be willing to give. I don’t want 3,5 years of Robinson on that contract for one measly pick and that should be the most Miami would offer (if even that). I don’t want Robinson anywhere near the Jazz unless we’re playing Miami and he’s in a Heat uniform.

I think the play where he falls to the ground and makes a layup while doing the splits is what I will always think of... he makes me laugh... I'll give him that.

He looks like he's in better shape now. I still think the trade was dumb but it kinda sucks he's getting less run than he did as a Laker.

I'm still of the opinion that if the compensation lined up I'd be in. I'd say in a KO - Robinson deal I'd need one unprotected pick and one swap minimum. If DA/JZ are high on Jovic I'd settle for the unprotected pick and Jovic.

I think you move Beasley for picks and slot Robinson in as the 24-25 minute a night guy when healthy and you don't fall off all that much. Dollar amount is similar on the deals but Robinsons runs too long (which is why you get the picks and/or players). I think he's a guy that could recover some of his value and is useable as an overpriced rotation piece.

It's 0% the secret.

Him being heavier has next to zero negative impact on his game. Actually I think it benefits him way more than it hinders him. His successful drives can be attributed to his girth more times than not.

THT has to just make more simple basketball moves. He has to learn to handle the ball in tight spaces and draw fouls. He has to have the 3pt shot selection akin to a Royce O'Neale, only taking quality looks where he can get his feet set.

Is it this year’s pick that they can trade? I’m a little iffy on the length of his deal but I do think you eventually move him and end up collecting assets on both sides of that contract. The thing that would have me most miffed is not just keeping Bojan and moving him for another first that didn’t require that kind of salary dump and was perhaps a bit farther out.
