All Star Weekend Thread

I thought we should have a thread to keep track of all of the news surrounding all-star weekend, which takes place Friday Feb. 17 through Sunday Feb. 19. It will take place in Salt Lake City for the first time in 30 years.

There's definitely a chance. I also think there's a chance Beasly could be asked to be in the 3-point contest and then end up getting traded.

It would seriously be kind of funny if the NBA invites a bunch of ex-Jazz players to come participate in All-Star weekend.

Beasley, Jingles and Bogey in the 3 point competition would be pretty amazing actually.

I wonder why they don’t do more stuff than just the handful of events. I’m sure they could do more stuff if they wanted to. I’d watch a stretch five 3 point competition just for the sheer entertainment of watching guys who don’t normally shoot a lot from distance give it a try.

His percentages aren't great but he is shooting a lot so there's a chance. They should definitely invite Lauri to do it over him first. I'm guessing he would do both with being an all star.

I keep thinking his percentage will increase. And I keep being wrong. last night? 0-1 and it was one of the most wide open 3's i have ever seen. His 3 point shooting just seems to keep getting worse somehow.

I just want to see the ball spray everywhere and then see him frustratedly grab a ball from the rack and dribble 100 times into the mid post and shoot a turnaround.
