Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

McMahon and Lowe on his pod today... said they think we add a first or two at the deadline. They think we will be sellers. Tim is in SLC right now or just was... He's clued in.

We shall see.

Just listened to interviews with Miles Turner and the Indy GM on the local radio here. They might just be blowing smoke, but it definitely didn't seem like they are looking to trade him. They both had genuine excitement in their voices at getting the deal done and about Turner being part of their future.

I'm not sure if this is standard procedure, but all of Turner's teammates were there to watch him sign the deal. GM made it seem like they are definitely buyers not sellers. They desperately want to make the playoffs.

Tim also said everything they do is focused 2 or 3 years down the road, but they would love to make a move that would help them now and in the future, which explains the interest in guys like Collins and Finney Smith. He said the Jazz interest in Finney Smith is real but nobody in Utah or Dallas actually thinks a deal will get done. He doesn't think Finney Smith will be traded by the deadline.

Also said he's hearing that the Jazz are asking for way too much in trade discussions....and Danny Ainge tends to get way too much.

Can you imagine not being at the Crown Burger across the street from the arena and pretending you have ANY idea what's going on with the Jazz.

"Extra pastrami this time, Lydia!!! Sorry........you were saying Justin.......?"

Is Hart, at the price he's going to fall at a better player than next year's Abaji? I'd stand pat at SG, SF, and Center unless you are bringing in a solid backup.

I’m a huge Josh Hart fan….I can’t see why now is the moment to trade for him. He’s so important to the Blazers, would have been smart to get him when he was being undervalued but that window has passed.
