Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I say yes to the laker picks but I don’t think they can protect their picks with no seconds. They are only allowed to trade out so far so they can’t protect them with no way for the picks to convey.

Lakers are still not going to give up both picks. Danny needs to give them a deadline then Cleveland them. Let them try to sell Broklyn on a deal involving Poetl and San Antonio. See how that goes.

At some point the back deals we have in place may dry up while we wait on these morons.

I’ll concede it’s worth 2 protected picks but not 3. Highly likely it’s a great pick but still could end up being average with the lottery.

Also you’re basing the swap off NOP’s current form. I think it’s reasonable that they bounce back and end up middle of the playoff pack in the west.

Anyway, I think that’s too much to give. I’d want both picks or hold back a dude from that trade.
Trying to not be a homer… but sure… I get it.

With regard to NO… uhhhh they been trash for a while and honestly maybe their start was the outlier. They made the playoffs last year but weren’t even .500. I would guess they end up in the 18-22 range… it’s still 6-8 spots minimum… maybe more.

That defeats the purpose for the knicks. They would want to add more firepower to go with Quickley off the bench.
Well they would also get off a trash contract and IQ will need a bigger role eventually and that won’t happen with Brunson.

Dudes a starting level PG imo

Basically I just want IQ so any Knicks deal I just want to yell out “GIVE US IQ!!!!”

I was on the fence about Beasley until recently, but now I'm all the way out on him. He needs to go. His ideal role is a bench spot up shooter on a short leash, and I'm afraid Hardy would keep playing him too much after we give him a pretty big extension.

The Knicks probably won’t give up Quickley. Are we still on the Quentin Grimes hype train or was that just last year?
