Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I’ve literally pitched this idea before… there are a couple different versions we could do.
At some point this thread moved too fast. I might have missed this exact combo.

I do remember few Fournier trades you proposed but they didnt do the trick for me.

Basically I just want IQ
Just curious as to what you see on him? I see a much worse version of Jordan Clarkson, without any of Jordan Clarkson strengths IMO.
Yep. I love vando but he isn't good. KO is trash and beasley is way overrated. Move em all
RIGHT NOW he’s not good but he’s going to be every bit as important to this team as Ingles was. He just needs time to develop.
Yes please!!!
Hell no!!!

A quick glance at some Knicks boards shows about 50% enthusiasm for this trade and 50% saying ‘don’t trade with Ainge, because it’s not gonna end well’.

Trying to not be a homer… but sure… I get it.

With regard to NO… uhhhh they been trash for a while and honestly maybe their start was the outlier. They made the playoffs last year but weren’t even .500. I would guess they end up in the 18-22 range… it’s still 6-8 spots minimum… maybe more.
I think they're a top 4 team in the West if healthy, but that's a really big if.

Given that the draft compensation is equal(ish), I think I might still prefer John Collins over Fournier+Toppin, but it wouldn't bother me if we went that direction.

Not sure what to think of Toppin. Funky player who is only good in transition and shockingly bad as a roll man. Think Collins is a much better defender/can still be an elite rim runner.

Honest question but how much have you watched IQ?

I personally think he’s a young, talent and complete lead guard. Advanced stats love him, he facilitates, defends and shoots pretty well.

I agree if this is actually on the board its better. Contract baggage in both but I think Collins upside is best of this bunch.
