What's new

Who will end the triple-double drought?

First you gotta knock him out to be able to transport him to Utah, then you gotta convice our highlighters are the new Lakers jerseys and that Lauri is Lebron...

Then what you said.

Fish with teh dubayooooo.
To be fair if you post that entire post then that prediction was really weak.
I had vando, tht, KO and half the team in that post.

I can't take take the W..... Clarkson got it done and played a great game but I wouldn't have bet on him to be the one at that time.

The whole post: Points is obviously the easiest one to get. I think rebounds is the next easiest. So you have to look at dudes who are good passers but also have some size (for the rebounds). Only guys who fit that criteria on the roster are Vando and THT. Conley could have a flukey big rebounding game. Clarkson could have a flukey big rebounding and assist game. Kessler could get 10 blocks but even for a great shot blocker that is extremely rare. Maybe NAW could do it.
I think Vando and THT are the two with the size and versatility to their game to get a triple double but they lack the minutes.
KO is another guy that fits the criteria. He is a good passer and is big enough and around the hoop enough to get the rebounds needed.

Probably no one on this roster does it this year though.

I think Clarkson improving in passing over the past 2 seasons made it possible, but it was still against all odds that he was the one to do it.

I mean prior to this game, he had 1 double digit rebound game since the start of last season, and 3 double digit assist games. So thats 4 total double doubles in 83 games, until tonight.

However I am happy that it was Clarkson who did it, regardless of whether we trade him or not. He is a great guy who has had a super rough season and this definitely made up for some of the struggles.

And if we cant get good enough return to trade him, then it could be an injection of good mojo for him going forward.

Clarkson probably needed this game more than anybody else. He’s really struggling lately. Happy for him.

I want 5 first round picks for Jordan Clarkson!

Of our current players, nobody seems super likely. I would put the best odds on Clarkson, just because it would need to be someone that plays ball in hand. Next best odds I would say Conley.

For some reason it does seem like NAW or THT could randomly have a game like that as well.
This guy is a genius.
