Maybe not. I think he wants to talk to people here during the all-star festivities and do a temperature check. It’s actually a smart thing to do with perfect timing. No rush. All options are wide open.

Highly doubt he plays at this point. If it were likely I doubt they'd sit here and wait a week. Feels like they're just negotiating the buyout behind the scenes.
 
Shams is saying if he had a new home we would have bought him out already. I remember Windhorst staying awhile ago that Westbrook didn’t want to be bought out due to pride. He also said once you cross that line and be bought out it changes the perception of you as a player around the league.

Pride and there's basically no reason to accept a buyout if no one is going to pick you up. Might as well get all your money and stay home.
 
forgive my English. i have two question russ has a Contrack i think 47 million. he was with the fakers little more then half the season so if they buy him out is it for the full 47 million ? or did the fackers pay him for the time he was with them and the remainder of the money owed to him is less now so the buy out for the jazz will be less ? thanks have a great day.
