Jefferson should officially be on the trading block

Don't we already have enough young assets? Isn't there such a thing as too many young assets? Where's the line between young assets and a Junior Jazz team? But yea, I guess we could find a veteran C somewhere (though Cs in general are a wanted commodity--Kurt Thomas is still in the league). I think I'd rather have Kevin Martin.

He is injury prone and doesn't play even decent defense. Sorry, if we are trading Jefferson then I want a pick or picks. We need to get a good SF and they don't just grow on trees.

Ha that's what I just said to someone's proposal to trade for Martin. But I'd rather have him than Hill/Thabeet. But really, I'd rather have what you just said, a good SF.

Jazz can't trade Jefferson for just perimeter players. We would have no depth in the front court. Hill is very underrated and would be a great athletic big backing up Millsap.

These trade ideas are great. If only KOC looked at Jazzfanz boards (has greg, koc, corbin, or any of players have confessed to looking at Jazzfanz?). I mean WHO predicted the D-will trade? Or even the Okur one?

Andre Iguodala

Andre Iguodala, is the lock down defender, point forward that will change the Jazz more than any other man out there. We then would be thin up front, so we could go sign Greg Ostertag. Just kidding. We can find a serviceable back up to pick up the time that Kanter, Favors, Millsap and Evans don't take. We could go get Joel Pryzbilla, or Elson again... or better yet.. John Amaechi out of retirement:)

Some of the joke aside about FA centers, Iggy would be huge. Sure his contract expires a year after Al, but I actually think he would opt out after next year to resign a big 4/5 year deal as a 29 year old then as a 30 year old free agent. Even if he did opt in for that 3rd year, it would be before the extensions for Hayward and Favors kick in. We need defense on the perimeter and we just don't have it.

Iggy is the answer.

Al/Bell for Iggy straight up. Or if Philly wants a wing instead of Al... Al to Houston... Martin to Philly.... Iggy to Utah... Bell to Houston or Philly.

KOC getter done!

unfortunately a big al for hill/thabeet trade doesn't match up salary-wise.

I think this is a great idea. I've always thought the Jazz should go after AI for all the reasons you stated. Lock-down defender, decent scorer, good guy on and off the court. And their salaries match up. And then get Pryz, a veteran C, who I've always thought would do well with the Jazz (interior defense, block shots, rebounds). KOC getter done!

I would love Iggy but Sixers don't need or want Jefferson.

what if we added one of our 1st round picks for next year? the golden state one? in an awesome draft? they might bite. and they've been looking to trade Iggy forever. and Big Al would be an upgrade over Hawes. A 3-man rotation of Brand, Big Al, and Hawes would be pretty formidable up front.
