Walker Kessler named Western Conference Rookie of the Month for February

This was announced a couple of weeks ago and was posted in the Kessler hype thread.

Probably quite a bit, especially after seeing how much he helped Rudy develop over the years.
 
After tonight's heroics, I'd like to add this.

Multiple advanced stats seem to suggest that Walker is the best rookie in the league this year. From Box +/- to VORP to PER, to my personal favourite: The Raptor by 538.

This is the definition of "it's not even close":

Walker's the only rookie(I've filtered out anyone playing fewer than 1000 minutes) whose both offensive and defensive Raptor is positive, as well.

Here it is on a graph, though:

White circles are qualifying rookies. Walker is red, Banchero is blue. Greyed out circles are vets.

Yeah this is exactly what I was saying in the quotes thread. Hardy, our other players and our beat writers need to start the campaign now.

Man deserves more respect than flipping at #3 and #4 in the odds and national ladders. There must be a discussion at least.

Jokic wins MVPs because of these exact numbers, so why do we evaluate ROY on different standards?
 
Does WK already basically give us everything our $40M player would have (who most here deemed irreplaceable last season)?

Player B ofc. You can pick any half of those stats away and its still B.

I take kessler. And when you factor in salary and age its not even close
