2023 NBA Draft Megathread

What the....

You don't want to waste a year of our core in the future, so you'd waste two/three years in the present to develop project players in hopes that ones/two take off?

I don't even think we'll make all 3 of the picks that we currently own and I am 100% confident that we're not going to trade future picks for more picks this year. I think one project player MAYBE two is fine but 4 is redundant because we probably wouldn't have the minutes to develop 4 rookies at the same time while also trying to remain competitive.
Yes it is crazy and a little backwards. But to fill out the roster with 9 quality players this is how I would do it. I would want the team to do a serious run in the playoffs three years from now. The maximum number of young players who only need a year or two of help (and the team would have capacity for) from a loaded draft is what I would want.

Just a reminder that Brice Sensabaugh is a 19 year-old, 6'6", 230-lb wing with 52/41/83 shooting splits. He should be a bonafide floor spacer and shouldn't be overlooked in the "Who's the best shooter in the draft?" discussion. He's also got potential to improve his strength and athleticism, and he should be able to get to the rim better in the NBA.

If the Jazz are drafting mid-first, he ought to be on people's short list.
No

What is your reasoning? Is he unathletic or something? (I know nothing about him but what furgeson posted looks pretty sweet on paper)
Just not a fan. Would rather take Maxwell Lewis over Sensabaugh if we are going for an offense heavy/defense lite wing.

He's fine. He does a lot of stuff with Vecenie on podcast. He was the guy who turned me onto Jordan Hawkins.
Ahhh... I know him... he's kinda dull but seems like he knows his ****. Now that he's stealing my takes I know he's smart.
