I don't think I detest any more player in the NBA than that arrogant crybaby Luka. So I hope it doesn't happen, even though I get he's an elite talent.

Tbf, the ref influencing is mostly cultural and not related to his personality. He has a reputation of being a nice guy who is also positive and loves a good laugh.

Jalen might be good. But as much as I love and respect Dame, dude's 32 and on one of the biggest contracts in the game. We'd want to be careful to not do too much on that sort of deal.

Jalen or Luka on this team would be fun and might be what pushes us over to the top.

Jaylen Brown is not coming to SLC. He is involved in the black community work and wants out of Boston because he doesn't feel like his cause is supported in Boston. He made recent comments about it in the media.

Luke might be available. A 23 year old 4 time all star averaging 32.4 points per game, 8 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game who is under contract for 3 more seasons being available is very very rare. Like probably literally the first time in history a player that young with those stats would ever be available (btw I dont actually think he is available. I think the mavs will not trade him)

Only 23 years old with those numbers is pretty crazy. What if when he hits his prime he is averaging 38 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds or something. Imo if he is available the jazz would be very stupid to not try to acquire him. there is a limit to how much I would be willing to give up but damn, I would give up a lot.

I hate watching Luka play basketball, but let's be real here. He's a top 5 asset to have in the league and maybe even higher than that. Of course you get him if you can. There's not a single player that's better than him that's reasonably gettable.

Side note, still have no idea why people think Jaylen Brown could be a thing. Like has anyone paid any attention at all to him as a person? The idea that he would leave Boston for Utah is hysterical.

You have any data for either of those things? Can you show me where the average mavs game ranks vs the rest of the nba in length of their games? As for his injury history, he has never played less than 61 games in a season (thats including the bubble season). Not phenomenal or anything but it isn't like he is constantly hurt.

I would love Luka on the Jazz as long as they don't have to gut the team and all our picks. He is frustrated because that is his situation in Dallas, they have no bench and there starting Five is average. I think he would whine less if he had more help. Still his talent is pretty amazing.
