There are plenty of dumb teams out there, but everybody should have known that it's idiotic to give one dimensional players max money.

So glad we traded him and actually got value. I don't know if Minnesota could do that right now (and that's before the thrown punch).

Yeah, it was so stupid. I mean, we only got 5 1st round picks and rotation players for him. I wish we never signed him for max money!!!!

Just because Minnesota was dumb enough to pay the price doesn't mean the price was worth it.

That's like saying Herschel Walker was worth what Minnesota sent to Dallas for him. The dude was badass, but he wasn't worth the price. Ironcially just another Minnesota team that got desperate....

So maybe the moral of the story is that you sign talented players and you figure it out later instead of crying like a baby?

Who is crying? I'm glad we got the assets AND all my theories about Rudy have been proven true. It didn't even take a year. Win win baby.

I never said we shouldn't pay him. I said he wasn't worth it and we should trade him as quickly as we can for value so we could build around the true star - Donovan Mitchell.

We did so much right until we just completely screwed the pooch.
